Gardenstead?
Searching for the right name for our little plot of earth was a challenge. I wanted something unique. Wildlife photography is one of my passions which led to the selection of Flutters n’ Bumbles. But when I tacked on various endings nothing quite fit. Should we be called Acres, Farm, Homestead, Farmstead?
The meanings of Homestead and Farmstead gave me an idea…
Homestead (noun) a house, especially a farmhouse and outbuildings
Farmstead (noun) a farm and its buildings
Why not a Gardenstead? Following the same concept of meaning, I figured it would read like this…
